Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and its methods
The principles of traditional Chinese medicine largely coincide with my personal worldview of health, its value, perception of human — not as a mechanistic set of organs and tissues of a single organism, which is necessary to affect in General, in order to achieve health.
Traditional Chinese medicine is an ancient system of philosophical Outlook on human life, its relationship with nature and the environment. People in TCM is perceived in the totality of relations of the mind, body and emotions. The ancient Asians would prefer to anticipate the disease, and at the slightest signs of beginning to recognize her, than, in an advanced stage long and tedious to treat.
Not to say that Eastern people — poets in the most common sense of the word, but how great it is said:
“Decoctions (teas ) — is the smile of medicinal plants, pills (a traditional Chinese medicine in the form of large balls for the reception inside) is a view of plants and Tibetan herbal is the soul of plants.”
The fundamental cause of the diseases according to TCM, is the spiritual level, the impact of emotions on the human body. Therefore, more indirectly, affects nutrition, poor environment, lifestyle, heredity and other external factors.
Vital Energy (Qi) . the main thing in man, flows through 12 main meridians . and the task of the healer’s vosstanovitelnogo energy channels to let the energy flow freely. The impact on the acupuncture points (acupressure points) located on these meridians, helps restore balance in the body and therefore restore overall health.
TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) systematizes ancient knowledge and incorporates acupuncture techniques. moxibustion, aromatherapy, herbal medicine, a system of exercises (qi Gong), acupressure (point massage ), therapeutic cans (a type of vacuum cans).
Acupuncture (acupuncture), moxibustion, acupressure — in all these methods is the impact on biologically active points with needles, fingers, scrapers and special photoshare aimed at the restoration of equilibrium between the principles of Yin and Yang.
Medical banks increase blood circulation, trigger energy channels.
Common in the East, foot massage stimulates the whole organism, acting simultaneously on a set of points.
Qigong, as a system of healing based on the combination of meditation, proper breathing and movement, starts the flow of energy through the channels.
In Slavic practice, a healing, too much space was given infusions, decoctions of herbs, but the Chinese have surpassed all the attention to detail. I already wrote how carefully they approach the ceremony of brewing green tea. As for Tibetan herbal infusions, their therapeutic effect is influenced by the time of brewing, crockery, conditions of storage, Yes, even the phase of the moon, which is a goal of this manipulation.
Favorite plants of traditional Chinese medicine is ginger. licorice root, cinnamon, licorice, ginseng, Schizandra, peony root. But the Chinese often do not limit plants, they are actively using in medical practice minerals, crushed insects, animal horns.
According to the theory of the five elements (fire, water, earth, wood and metal) necessary to recreate balance in the energy of each individual, during illness it is necessary to strengthen weak elements and to avoid the impacts that these elements weaken.
Sometimes people ask the question: “do I have to help of traditional Chinese medicine, if I do not fully understand its philosophy?”
Actually, why not… I will not say that you know the ropes of Chinese medicine, but the use of its separate elements, such as massage, acupuncture, aromatherapy, acupressure brought my health benefit.
Now many integrative medicine, embodying many of the beginning, the best thing is that there is particular peoples, some well-known healers, ancestors of the systems of healing.
